Courtesy of Kat's initial musical arrangement, Wasting My Time addresses the feeling of being lost in one's life, our search for meaning, and the realisation that the relationships we have with the ones we care the most about are what brings us the most meaning, while pointing out that those relationships help us to feel alive amongst the never ending struggles and hardships we face.
